Austin Ear Clinic Audiologists
Kristen Armstrong, M.S.
Kristen's interest in Audiology stems from having a sister who
developed hearing loss as an infant and longing to help her stay ahead of the
best technology available. Kristen obtained her Masters Degree in
Audiology from the University of North Texas. She is currently working on
her Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D.) through the University of
Pennsylvania. She worked for a private hearing aid practice for several
years fitting and dispensing hearing aids. While with the practice she
managed a satellite clinic in Georgetown. She joined Austin Ear Clinic in
January 2007. She administers hearing and balance tests and fits and
dispenses hearing aids.

Amy is a native Texan. Amy finished her Bachelors and Masters Degree in
Audiology (with honors) at The University of Texas at Austin. She then
completed her clinical fellowship at Texas ENT Consultants in the Houston
Medical Center, where she was in charge of all neurodiagnostic testing (ABR,
OAE) and hearing aid fittings for infants and young children. Amy later
joined Austin Ear Clinic, where she has been coordinator for the cochlear
implant program since 2002. At Austin Ear Clinic, Amy does cochlear implant
programming for both children and adults, as well as neurodiagnostic testing
(ABR, OAE, ECOG, VNG) for both children and adults. She also is the only
therapist in Austin to provide Auditory-Verbal Therapy for children with hearing
loss (as a mentored therapist, under Dr. Joanna Stith, PhD, certified AV Therapist).
